I watched expedition white shark on natgeo religiously. So to have an app where I myself can see where the sharks are n other info of the sharks from the show is awesome!! I love sharks and anything to do with helping sharks so the $3.99 was well worth it : )

Best app EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great app, however the description leaves out one important piece of information. It lasts only for a year. Apparently, it is a subscription app. Ill renew, but give it 3 stars for the deceptive tactics used to sell it.

The description fails to mention that this is for a one year subscription. They should have stated that up front. The display on the iPhone is very small as well. Finally, the iPad version has the exact same name, so make sure your getting the right one for your idevice. I first purchased the iPad version, thinking it would be load able onto my iPhone as well. It wasnt. It didnt show up as being available for my iPhone when I synced it to iTunes. They should have named Expedition White Shark HD like many of the the other apps do. I so wanted to give a good review, but not stating up front that this is a one-year subscription, and the hard to view Display for the iPhone prevented that. Deception does not fit well with such a worthy endeavor.

Most apps for the iPhone are games and this is the first app about sharks that is actual informative and fun. Not only does it track great whites, but it gives you a bio, pics, videos, history of cots locations and has a game too! At $4 its under priced and fun for any person!

I just read the last review and was equally upset by the subscription aspect of the app. I was unaware of this as well. I absolutely love this application and cant wait for future updates. Hopefully it will include the exclusion of a subscription requirement.

Love this app. one improvement might be to be able to monitor the sharks, without the attack icons on the map.

I love sharks, and have ever since I was like 1. It is the coolest thing in the world to be able to track live great whites. I wish I had found out about this earlier. Definitely worth the price. Get it!

You guys are dumb. In yellow letters in the terms and conditions that YOU check yes for, explains the subscription and the info about it. Stop complaining. The only think I dont like is that one of the sharks tagged, was not a great white: it was a tiger shark. The fact that this shark was called a great white is very misleading.

It gets boring fast and it appears all of the great white sharks have lost their signals. However, I do like that they added tiger sharks. Im tired of seeing the reviews wanting more shark attack stuff. There are hundreds of thousands of dog bites every year and only less than one hundred shark bites so, what is the obsession? Is it because their teeth are bigger? This app is to fund shark research, not further vilify creatures that already have a bad rap thanks to stupid humans. Anyway, because I know the money went to a good cause, I didnt mind spending $4 on the app but the app itself is not worth $4 if that makes sense.

What a rip. Once you buy it, they tell you it only lasts for a year. That should get them banned from the app store! I want my money back for that misrepresentation of the 3.99 app. I like the app concept, but it doesnt translate well to the small UI. There is no tracking data clearly defined for each shark or drill down in a location for shark activity over an extended period for surfers or divers who are looking for trends. I support the cause but Im not ok with the app rental BS. Needs work. Gets boring fast.

I downloaded this a month ago and havent seen ANY shark tracking on the west coast. This app is a waste of money, cant wait for it to expire! All the other "educational" info could be found by googling white shark, or by looking up the shark research committee. Did I say it was a waste of money???

This app is a total rip off and the makers should be ashamed. Not one of the sharks on here has been actively tracked for weeks. What a disappointment!!!!

I do enjoy this app quite a lot but I do have a question. Why is Apache in the middle of Washington state? Haha

I spent the money cos I figured it helps a good cause. Thus, it doesnt matter so much that this app isnt very good; perhaps it is better on a desktop. 2 stars but for the good cause.

This app is horrible. It is so small of font that it is illegible. A total waste of money. I wanted to actually track the sharks not play a game or go blind trying to read. I even got a magnifying glass and still could not make anything out. Waste of money.

This app is crap !! Shows the same shark in the same location for months. Not real time or accurate .

This app doesnt work on my iPhone 5. Ive been trying for days on different wifi accounts and it still says it has no Internet connection. Very disappointed. I really hope they fix it soon. Ive heard we already had a tagged shark sighting in cape cod and I cant look at it :(
